I’m Kevin Lai. I’m a designer to shape how, when, and where we gather to make memories.
That means some problem areas I’m interested in are: Hospitality tech that puts restaurants first / Empowering local SMB / Re-imagining big moments end-to-end such as concerts, trips, parties, live events, retail / Community and lifecycles in professional/amateur sports
The parts of the design process that I light up in have to do with vision, strat, concepts, fun, making human insights come to life, and prototyping.
I’ve done this on projects with Chase, Equinox, Lennar, Converse, IKEA, Samsung, Tiffany, Rhetoric, Sous (personal), and currently at The Infatuation, after years at agencies Work & Co and R/GA.
